Artist and filmmaker Laurie Simmons and her daughter Lena Dunham remember the legacy of Jimmy De Sana–a groundbreaking photographer and Laurie's best friend, who lost his life to AIDS in 1990. Laurie explores Jimmy's work and life, and reflects on her role as the caretaker of his legacy. Produced for the 2017 amFAR NYC Gala in partnership with C41 Media.
